Our company was founded in 1969 by the technical businessman Walter Schön as a commercial agency.
The trading program consisted of machines and products required for the construction and operation of cable networks for power current and telecommunications technology. The customers were and still are today: electricity companies, telecommunications and line construction companies, heavy current system construction companies, network operators, public utilities and, not to forget, manufacturers of conveyors and hydraulic systems. Based on several years of experience, Walter Schön decided to manufacture a new product himself. The cable grip from Munich was born. It took several years of calculations and trials to develop a standard range of cable grips that actually met the real needs of customers.

In 1974, the first delivery was made to a cable construction company in China. By participating in exhibitions and trade fairs, our cable grips were introduced to the consumer and the variety of applications demonstrated. This practical and easy-to-use tool and safe aid has been able to establish itself on a large scale. In the wind power industry, which is promoted by our country, the cable stocking has taken on a key role in the safety of the systems. Power and control cables are suspended in pylons, tubular towers and lattice masts up to 130 meters high, with strain relief. With this technology, the cable grips proved its particularly high durability and longevity. The possible applications for this product are very diverse. Our customers are constantly discovering new applications. We are happy to participate and welcome good ideas.

In 2000, the company founder passed the successful business on to his son, a trained master mechanical engineer, whose entire endeavor is to maintain and promote the quality and functionality of the product, to supply customers reliably and to keep his ear on the pulse of technical development.
