Power and control cables in wind turbines are exposed to very high loads. To ensure the longest possible trouble-free operating life of the systems, the cables in the towers must be installed with strain relief and secured against slipping. This cable mounting grip has been specially designed for wind turbines and is particularly suitable for this application. Since most “windmills” are installed near the coast, we use stainless-steel Bowden cable strand – DIN 1.4401 for the meshes of the MW type series. For inland wind turbines, we can also supply this type series in a galvanised version.
